Love the post and punk tech intro. Working on a VR project that feels punk. 🎸💀😎 (we need a VR headset emoji)

Are you a VR fan?

Company = TelePresent Media. Project = Live music in real time with 2-way communication between artists and audience.

Production = our studio was in Lahaina, which burned down a number of weeks ago. So we’re securing space and rebuilding. We workshopped events prior to that and people flipped out. Couldn’t believe they could talk to the performers and the performers could see and hear them just like a real concert. Closest to a live experience I’ve witnessed in VR. When we schedule our first show, I’ll announce it in my newsletter.

Not really a fan, but deeply curious. Your experiment sounds amazing, I wonder if it helps to ground people in a shared space more to have that interaction. It's something you hear referenced about interactions in VRChat, for example.

Exactly! Less chaotic than a lot of VRchat experiences. People do well with a shared purpose. Keep an eye on it. The industry sees this as the next frontier, especially for indie musicians.
